Their unique software matches customers who are looking to charter aircraft, with operators who have spare capacity but without the means to market themselves. With over 700 operators registered, and thousands of aircraft to choose from, our Client gives customers an independent view of the whole market. They also offer a full offline, personal service.
Job Purpose
Our Client’s business is expanding and they’re looking for a Charter Broker to join their sales team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will promote the Company’s forward-thinking ethos, representing an exciting new concept in Private Jet charter. Our Client plans to hire an enthusiastic, hard working candidate who would enjoy flexible hours and location (working partly from the Company offices and from home). The role offers flexibility and autonomy, being part of a young, enthusiastic and highly ambitious team. The Company’s online functionality means that you will be more externally focused - streamlining the administration aspects of the role, with emphasis on external sales and nurturing excellent customer relationships. The number one priority is driving awareness and sales from potential new private jet customers. The role also involves enhancing strong relationships with private jet operators, educating them about our Client, which is vital to the inventory of the business.
Knowledge & Experience
Strong knowledge, contacts and understanding of the Private Jet market is crucial. Strong online services/IT knowledge and understanding are essential – you will be liaising with 4 developers and will therefore need to explain customer instructions clearly and concisely. The Company is young, dynamic and exciting, so you will need to hit the ground running, fitting in with the brand that is being successfully built. The successful candidate will be in charge of setting up a department within 18 months; a period of time whereby our Client is looking to expand at an unprecedented rate, with backing from a range of investors. Although you will take responsibility for yourself and, ultimately (for the right person) a department of Brokers, our Client will provide you with their full support. Additionally, further support is in place to enable you to meet potential Clients as much as possible, winning sales for the website. Ideally, you will have the ‘little black book’ of contacts in the market to obtain new business.
